CHRISTOPHER LAWRENCE ROSASCHI

Christopher Lawrence Rosaschi, best known to his family as “Oskie” and to his friends as Chris, passed away at the age of 45 on Thursday, February 17, 2022 at his home in Naples. Chris was born on May 20, 1976 in Franklin Square, New York. He lived his young life on Long Island, attended Chaminade High School where he excelled in academics, played football and lacrosse, and upon graduation from high school, attended Wesleyan University where he continued to play football and lacrosse and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication Arts. Chris was a gifted and talented creative artist and established careers as a Creative Art Director in New York, North Carolina and Florida.

Chris was known for his enormous heart, his generosity of spirit and his inordinate ability to love. He was a kind, gentle, loving father, son, brother and friend. His greatest joys in life were his children Tyler, Cole, and Madeline, and rejoiced in his love of family and the beauty of this world, which he expressed so beautifully in his art. Chris suffered from and battled the illnesses of bi-polar disorder and alcoholism with courage and quiet dignity for his entire life. He fought the good fight, but not without leaving his mark on the world. Those who knew Chris, even a little, lost a shining light in their lives.

Chris will be missed every moment of every day by his loving children, Tyler, Cole, and Madeline, whom he adored and loved beyond reason, his parents, Charles and Patricia, who loved him more than words can express, his two brothers, Thomas and Alexander, whom he loved and cherished beyond belief, and his loving aunts, uncles, cousins and friends, too numerous to mention. We know beyond doubt that Chris is now with his grandparents, John and Betty Mahon and Alexander and Virginia Rosaschi, and is loved here on earth as well as in heaven.

On Wednesday, March 2, 2022, a Memorial Visitation will be held for Chris at Fuller Funeral Home, 4735 Tamiami Trail East, Naples, Florida 34112, from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM. The Funeral Service will be at 5:00 PM.

On Thursday, March 3, 2022 at 11:00 AM, a Funeral Mass will be celebrated for Chris at St. Finbarr Catholic Church, 13520 Tamiami Trail East, Naples, Florida 34114.
