Adrian Banky, age 85, of Naples, Florida and Morristown, NJ, passed away Sunday, December 12, peacefully at home.
Adrian (Mike), born June 30, 1936 in Chicago, Illinois, was a business graduate of the University of Illinois. He served two years in the military as a paratrooper. He then pursued a career in finance on Wall Street.
Mike was married to his wife, Charmaine, for 62 years. They had three beautiful children, two of whom preceded him in death; his daughter, Veronica, and son, Brad. He is survived by his wife, Charmaine; their son, Blake; his wife, Donna; eight grandchildren; and a great-granddaughter. Mike’s two passions were his family and his love of woodworking. He was an avid reader, an advocate for education, a man of wit, and an unyielding Cubs fan.
A memorial mass will be held at Saint Peter the Apostle Church, Naples, on Saturday, January 8, at 11:30 a.m.
Following the service, there will be a gathering for family and friends; details to be provided at the service.
