BOB KENNETH FLYNN

Bob Flynn, 66, passed away on May 17, 2022 at Physician’s Regional Hospital – Pine Ridge. He was the loving partner of Sueann Zylstra, with whom he had been together for 14 years. They were an inseparable couple who loved, cared, and doted on one another for all to see.

Born in New York City, he was the fourth son of Arthur and Florence Flynn. He attended school in the Catholic school system in Flushing, NY. For most of his working life, Bob was a commercial driver, either as a beverage distributor, food vendor, or driver-technician.

A natural motor-head, Bob enjoyed driving and being in the presence of muscle cars, both classic and modern, as well as taking weekend cruises on his Harley-Davidson. He will be remembered for his fun-loving personality, quick wit, and selflessness when it came to his loved ones.

He is survived by Sueann, his children, Daniel and Patrick, his beloved dogs, and siblings, Bryan, Kathy, and Michelle. He was pre deceased by his mother and then by his brother, Billy, late in 2020.
He wished to forgo a traditional funeral service, but a memorial service will be organized later this year in his native New York. Bob’s wishes were to be cremated and interned at the home of his partner, so that he could be with her forever.
