Carol J. Kriebl, 86, passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 13, 2023 at her home in Naples, Florida.
She was born in Iron River, Michigan on December 11, 1936. Daughter of the late John and Joyce (Lassi) Peifer, Carol grew up in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan and Chicago, Illinois. After marrying her beloved husband, Oliver G. Kriebl, Cleveland, Ohio became her home. Escaping the cold winters, Naples, Florida was also home for more than 40 years. Oliver preceded her in death on September 10, 1994.
Carol was Executive Secretary at Motorola in Chicago before dedicating herself to her family. She was a devout Catholic and a parishioner of St. Peter the Apostle Church in Naples since 1981.
Carol’s most treasured times were spent with family and traveling the world. She was voracious reader, talented artist, and enjoyed playing Mah Jongg, and bingo.
She is survived by three daughters, Olivia, Karen (Timothy), and Jennifer (Jack); four grandchildren, Erica, Sean, Mia, and Oliver; and one great grandchild, Remi.
Carol was preceded in death by one daughter, Katherine.
A Memorial Mass will be held in the chapel at St. John Vianney, in Mentor, Ohio at 10:00 am on Tuesday, August 22nd followed by a blessing at the gravesite at Western Reserve Memorial Garden, Chesterland, Ohio.
