Daniel Ray Stoll
December 13, 1957 ~ November 29, 2023 (age 65) 65 Years Old
Daniel R. Stoll, 65, of Naples, Florida, passed away on November 29, 2023. He was born in Barberton, Ohio on December 13, 1957 where he lived out his childhood. Dan met the love of his life Lorraine in May of 1980 in Adena, Ohio. Excited to start their new lives together, the two were married on January 10, 1981 and days later moved to Naples, Florida where they spent the next 42 years building their life and family.
Dan is survived by his loving wife Lorraine, three beloved daughters Brandy (Zach) Mersch, Shelby Stoll Lee, Kiley (Michael) Lamey along with his six grandchildren whom he loved being a Papa to, Tatum, Rylee, Braxton, Charlee, Mayley, Michael lll. His siblings, Michael (Tanya) Stoll of Michigan and Vickie Stoll of Florida.
Dan was strong willed and stubborn at times but he also had an enormous heart and great sense of humor. Everyone who knew Dan knew how much he had a love for fishing, playing a round of pool and watching his children/grandchildren play sports. He spent many days at 3rd Avenue South, casting a net and catching dinner. He traveled many softball miles and spent most nights at a field giving "advice" to his girls and "opinions" to everyone else. He was handy and learned a lot through all of his life experiences: carpentry, sales and the latest as 'Squeegy Dan', his window cleaning business. Dan could fix or build anything. He has a few staple recipes that his girls will greatly miss.
Dan was preceded in death by his daughter Karly, mother Shirley and father Ralph "Bud". A memorial service is scheduled for Tuesday, December 12th from 6:00pm - 8:00pm to celebrate his life at Fullers Funeral Home, East 4735 Tamiami Trail E. Naples, FL 34112. His memory will live on in the hearts of all those who loved him.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Gulf
Coast Little League at Cindy Mysels Park and would be greatly appreciated as the Stoll family spent many years at the fields. Checks payable to Gulf Coast Little League and mailed to 5362 McCarty St, Naples FL 34113.
