Edward Martin Niland

Edward M. Niland passed away peacefully at home on May 18th, 2023, after a short illness.  Eddie Is survived by his wife of 48 years Annmarie (Dolly) Niland   He was the loving son of the late James Niland and Catherine (McElhinney) Niland.

Eddie graduated from Boston Trade High School after which time he was employed for 31 years with the former New England Telephone Company. Eddie was a proud veteran of the United States Army and honored that his father and brother and all his uncles, including his mother a riveter in WW2 were all proud veterans. 

After retirement Eddie relocated to both Marco Island, Florida and Somers, Montana. He loved nothing more than spending time out on the ocean on his boats with his family and friends. Eddie enjoyed spending hours on his A.T.V. driving through the breathtaking mountains of Montana with his best friends, Dolly by his side and their dog Wolfie 1 in the middle.  

He is survived by his daughters Marylou Fallon and her husband Dan, and Michelle Hamlett and son David Martin, along with his dog Wolfie 2. He is the cherished grandfather of Daniel Fallon, Jessica Fallon, Anthony Martin and Christopher Hamlett. 

He was the devoted brother of the late Janice Williams, Phyllis Niland and James Niland.  He will be missed so much.
