Eleanor Lucile Schmitt

Eleanor L. Farr Schmitt, age 91, of Naples, FL passed away on Friday January 7, 2022.
She was born in Donora, PA on May 20, 1930, a daughter of the late Donald D. and Margaret Woods Farr.
She was a graduate of Donora High School Class of 1948 and was a graduate of the Presbyterian Hospital School of Nursing in 1951.
Eleanor was a Registered Nurse at Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh and at Saint Vincent Medical Center in Erie.
She was a former active member of the Sarah Hearn Presbyterian Church where she served as a Deacon, Sunday School Teacher and President of the Women’s Association. She was most recently affiliated with Westminster Presbyterian Church.
She is survived by her loving husband Regis V. Schmitt whom she married in 1952; two sons, Jeffrey Schmitt (Jennifer) of Perkasie, PA and Michael Schmitt (Susan) of Orlando, FL; and one daughter Nancy Lyon (Parker) of Naples, FL. She is predeceased by her brother Richard Farr (Shirley) of Cleveland, OH. She is further survived by her grandchildren, Bryan (Brooke), Janice, and Aaron (Theresa) Hale, Ben (Bonnie) Schmitt, Josh (Nicole) Schmitt, Brian and Jenny (Schmitt) Carnell, one step grandchild, Tyler Penhallow, and 14 great grandchildren.
