Frederick C Garvin, 96, born April 19, 1925, Muskegon, Michigan, died May 4,2021, in Naples, Florida.

Fred was born to George and Edna Garvin. He had 1 brother and 3 sisters.

Fred married Edna Diemer in 1944, and they were the parents to 2 sons and 1 daughter. After Edna’s death, Fred married Norma Detro and added 2 daughters.

Fred proudly served in the Navy during WWII. He was proud of his country and proud to be a veteran.

Fred was a devout Christian. It was of utmost importance to him to share the love of Christ to everyone he met.

Fred was preceded in death by his parents, siblings, wife Edna, wife Norma, and son Gregory. He is survived by son Robert Garvin (Rose), daughter Janet (Denny) Hartman, Andrea (John), Mary (Dave) Lautzenheiser, 6 grandchildren and 14 great-children.

A memorial service will be held at Capri Christian Church in Naples, Florida, at 1:00 PM on Friday, May 7. There will also be a memorial service at Beechwold Christian Church in Columbus, Ohio, at a later date.
