GLORIA GIANSANTI

June 15, 1946 ~ June 9, 2022 (age 75) 75 Years Old

Tribute

Gloria Giansanti, 75, passed away on June 9, 2022 in Naples, Florida, while battling complications from advanced cancer, in the presence of her loving husband Willard and son Neil.

Gloria met the love of her life, Willard Giansanti, 63 years ago in Newington, Connecticut, where they were neighbors and they shared 57 years of marriage. Gloria was born in Hartford, Connecticut, on June 15, 1946. She was the daughter of Jean and Edward Perkoski, of Newington, Connecticut, and a graduate of Newington High School. Gloria was an incredible homemaker, raising her two loving children, Kimberly and Neil. Gloria lived most of her life in Rocky Hill, Connecticut, with her family and friends, before moving to Naples, Florida.

Gloria was a faithful member of San Marco Catholic Church, Marco Island, Florida, where she maintained a strong love of God. Gloria loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, celebrating holidays, birthdays, and special occasions. She also enjoyed spending quality time with her friends, where smiles and laughter were always in abundance. Gloria looked forward to boating, entertaining, sipping on a glass of wine, watching the sunset over the Gulf of Mexico with her dogs Bella and Roxy. Gloria will be remembered for the love and kindness she shared towards others. She loved going out of her way to make others happy and comfortable, putting family, friends, and guests ahead of herself. Gloria relaxed by watching “old” black and white movies, listening to music, playing word search puzzles, texting and talking with family and friends, watching her favorite games shows, soap operas, and TV series, such as Gold Rush and Snoopy.

Gloria is strongly missed and survived by her heartbroken family; her husband Willard Giansanti, daughter Kimberly Giansanti, son Neil Giansanti, granddaughters Kelly and Jennifer Mulry, grandsons Jesse, Nicolas, and Troy Giansanti, brother Edward Perkoski, daughter in law Wanda Giansanti and son in law John Mulry, and surviving dog Bella, as well as numerous family and friends who were touched by her love and kindness.

The memorial service is being held on Gloria’s 76th birthday, Wednesday, June 15, 2022 from 3 to 5pm at Fuller Funeral Home, 4735 Tamiami Trail East, Naples, Florida, 34112.
