Jason Gween Jacobs was born June 19, 1971 in Arlington Heights, Illinois to Gerald and Jane Jacobs. He grew up and graduated high school from Crystal Lake High School in 1989. He moved to Cape Coral, Florida in 1990 and began working in the family furniture business.
He hit his stride when he went to work for Gouse's Fine Furniture. For the last 20 years he had various positions, but he excelled at being an interior designer.
Jason was am 80's hair band fantatic, and especially loved Motley Crue. He and his daughter Jorrdan saw them in concert many times; it was a special bond they shared. Like his mother, music was very important in his life, and he was a fantastic musician, playing both electric guitar and piano extremely well.
Jason always loved fast cars. As he became more succesful in his career he owned several luxury and sport cars; his ferrari was his prized possession. Although days off were few and far between, a perfect one for him was spent detailing his cars with his son Jerremy.
Most of all, Jason loved people. He was always generous to everyone and no one went away a stranger.
Jason is survived by parents Gerald and Jane, daughter Jorrdan, Matthew Fischer, wife Melinda and son Jerremy. Preceded in death by brother Jerremy Jacobs. His surviving siblings are Tiffiny Commings of Las Vegas, Julie of Naples, Jamie (Barry Pierce) of Illinois and Zakary Exojaine, Anthony (Alexa) and Andrew of Naples.
