Jeffrey "Doyle" Wesson Sr, 79, passed away on November 13, 2021, in Naples, FL. Doyle was the beloved husband of Pamela Wesson. They shared 50 wonderful years.
Born October 8, 1942, in Hartford Alabama, he was the son of Robbie Jeanette and Innes O'Dell Wesson. Doyle's father passed when he was 2 years old. Later his mother married Chester Goodwin, who stepped ln, and raised him and his brother as his own. Due to Chester’s work, the family lived in various places, from Alabama to Pennsylvania, Georgia to Saudi Arabia, and traveled much of Europe. They finally settled in Bonita Springs, FL. Doyle graduated from Ft Myers Senior High and spent a year working in Saudi Arabia with an Arabian oil company, before returning home to Florida, where he went to work as a plumber. He met and married his wife Pam in 1971, and they their home Naples FL, where in 1974, he started his own business, Doyle Wesson Plumbing. He directed the business until his retirement in 2008, when he proudly handed the reins to his son, Jeffrey.
Doyle loved motorcycling. He and Pam made lasting friendships with many in the cycling community and spent some of their happiest times together, traveling the US with those friends. Doyle never met a stranger. He had a smile that would light up a room, and a personality that drew people to him. He loved his family with his whole heart and cherished them & the friendships he made along the way.
Doyle is survived by his wife Pamela, his children Jeffrey Wesson Jr. (Lauren), Andrea Boliek (Paul), Karen Curry (James), and Constance Moore, his grandchildren & great grandchildren, and his brother, Innes Cart Wesson (Gail), many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
Per his Instructions, there will be no service. Doyle's wishes were that everyone remember him individually, as they knew him.
