Joseph Gelle Jr. “Papa Joe”, resident of Troy, MI and Naples, FL passed unexpectedly on Monday, November 29, 2021, at the age of 72.
Beloved husband of Nancy (Langlois) for 53 years. Amazing father to Lisa Allain (Keith-deceased) and Michelle Sawyers (Patrick). Loving Papa Joe to Alec, Brooke, Christopher, Steven and Bryce. Joe also leaves behind brother Frank Gelle (Franca), sister Sarah Mealing (Rod) and sister-in-law Jean Parisi (John) along with several nieces and nephews.
Joe touched the lives of so many people. If you knew him, you didn’t have a choice but to love him and his sense of humor. He was one of a kind and will be truly missed by all.
A local memorial service will take place on Thursday, December 2, 2021 at 2 p.m. at the Fuller Funeral Home ~ 4735 Tamiami Trail East ~ Naples, FL 34112
For friends and family residing in Michigan a celebration of life will take place in the spring of 2022. Details to follow.
