Robert Anthony "Bobby" Camposano Sr., 76, passed away after a courageous battle with cancer on May 5, 2021 at his home on Marco Island, FL.

Bobby was born February 4, 1945 in Cambridge, MA to Paul Sr. and Eleanor Camposano.  He grew up in Watertown, MA and attended Watertown High School and New England College of Mortuary Science.  He married Janice Deveaux Camposano on May 7, 1967.  He had two children, Robin Ann and Robert Jr. "Bo" Camposano, of whom he was insanely proud.  He was employed first as a funeral director at Stanton Funeral Home.  He then attended Police Academy in Massachusetts and proudly served on the police force in Watertown, MA.  In 1980, he moved his family to Marco Island, FL and attended Real Estate School.  He served as a realtor on Marco Island for the remainder of his life.  His passions were his family and friends, golfing and boating.  He was a member of the Island Country Club.  He served on the American Cancer Society Board for several years after his initial cancer diagnosis.  He loved to travel with Janice and made friends wherever he went.  He loved deeply and was loved by many.  He was often the life of the party.

Bobby was predeceased by his parents Paul Sr. and Eleanor Camposano, as well as his brother Edward Camposano.

He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Janice, his children, Dr. Robin Camposano Hauser (Brian) and Robert Anthony "Bo" Camposano, Jr. (Vicki).  His grandchildren include Jacob, Molly, and Brady Hauser and Ava and Ella Camposano.  He is also survived by his brothers Paul Sr. (Nancy) and David (Kathy) Camposano, and several nieces and nephews.

A Mass and Celebration of Life will be held on May 21, 2021 at 10 am, at San Marco Catholic Church, 851 San Marco Rd., Marco Island, FL.  A reception will follow.  Arrangements will be handled by Fuller Funeral Home.

Our family would like to thank everyone who helped Bobby do his "hard work" to get to a better place, particularly Flore Ndongo, RN, MSW and the rest of the staff at Avow Hospice.
