Former Medford New York, Bloomingdale Illinois, & Naples Florida resident. Sam was born February 21st, 1940 and passed away February 6th, 2021 peacefully at his home in Naples, Florida.
Sam was united in marriage to his loving wife of 60 years, Rita Napolitano. They had three children: Joanne Napolitano(Cucci) (Married: Theodore Cucci), Cindy Napolitano, and Neil Napolitano (Married: Sue Gosda). Sam had 6 grandchildren (Nicholas, Anthony, Michelle, Severino, Matthew, Michael), and 5 great grandchildren (Theodora, Rosalia, Luciana, Nicholas, and Camila) Many Neices and Nephews and Dear Nephew Michael Ambroselli. Loving Brother preceded in death by sisters Frances Ambroselli and Judy Napolitano. Sam stayed in touch throughout his life with his childhood friends from NY: Bob C., Barbara. C, Tom M., and Kathy M.
Sam absolutely loved sports, football & baseball but really enjoyed his wonderful coaching career as a baseball coach with his grandkids and his son-in-law Ted Cucci. He loved spending time with his wife, going out to eat, the beach, the condo in Marco Island and just simply spending time together. Sam left an impact on everyone he had met throughout his life and made sure he lived his life to the fullest.
