Susan Olen

Susan Olen, 64, passed away peacefully with her loving husband, Donald, by her side in Naples Community Hospital's ICU on Friday, January 13, 2023. Susie finally lost her courageous 5 year battle against her deadly Scleroderma disease. She is survived by her husband of 38 years, her two sisters Kathy (Brad Byer) and Karen (Bob Makal) and four brothers Rich Romanowich (Janet), Jerry Romanowich (Chris), Dave Romanowich (Carolyn) and Marv Romanowich (Ruth). She is also survived by her many nieces and nephews and her loving stepsons Mark Olen (Robin) and Jeffrey Olen (Aida).

Susie was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on May 11, 1958. She graduated from Greenfield High School and briefly worked as a hair dresser in Greendale, WI and a secretary at the American Bowling Congress. Then, in 1981 she joined Allis Chalmers in West Allis, WI as a secretary where she met and started dating her engineer husband Donald. They were married 3 years later on October 6, 1984. They moved to Naples, Florida in December, 1984 where Susie successfully managed a Certified Public Accounting office for 35 years and Donald became a successful Real Estate Broker.

Susie was loved by everyone she touched in her lifetime and will be remembered for her contagious laugh and happy personality! She will be deeply missed by everyone especially her husband and soul mate!

No funeral or memorial service is planned. Cremation has been entrusted to the Fuller Funeral Home in Naples, Florida.
