THOMAS JAY BRIMFIELD

Thomas J. Brimfield, 61, passed away on April 7, 2022 in Naples FL.

Thomas was born in Syracuse, NY, on November 23, 1960 to Frances (Vickery) and Robert Brimfield. Thomas was married to Minda Brimfield whom he was with for 18 years. Thomas is preceded in death by his father Robert Brimfield (3-30-20). Thomas spent much of his life in the service of others as a Law Enforcement Officer. First with the Village of North Syracuse Police Department for 9 years and then with the Collier County Sheriff’s Office in Naples FL where he served for an additional 25 years. TJ’s love and passion for animals knew no boundaries and he cared for and fed one’s he came to meet each day. Thomas (TJ) was known and loved by many and whose kind heart and words he often shared.
Thomas is survived by his wife, Minda Brimfield, his mother Frances Brimfield and his brother Robert Brimfield. He leaves behind close friends and many brothers and sisters at the Collier County Sheriff’s Office.

Funeral services:
Viewing will be held in Naples at Fuller Funeral East on Monday April 11th, 2022 from 2:00pm – 5:00pm
Funeral will be held in Naples at St. Peter’s Catholic Church on Tuesday April 12th, 2022 Starting with a flag ceremony at 9:30am and church service to follow starting at 10:00am.
