Thomas J. Collins, 66, passed away May 31st, 2023 in Naples, Florida. Born on September 3, 1956 in New York, NY he was the son of Thomas and Rita Collins.
He graduated with a BA from Stony Brook University on Long Island and was on the football team as a kick returner.
Thomas attended Officer Candidate School and served as an officer in the United State Marine Corps which he dearly loved. Once a Marine, always a Marine.
After service he worked for Conrail in Pennsylvania before moving to Naples, Florida.
He will be sorely missed by a large group of friends in Naples who were his extended family.
Thomas is survived by his brother, James, of Tampa. He was predeceased by his mother Rita, his father Thomas, and his brother Edward.
A memorial will be held from 3 to 5 p.m. Friday, June 9th at Fuller Funeral home on the East Trail.
USMC honors to be rendered at 1600, 4 pm to the rest of you, at the funeral home.
