Thomas Edward Muscato of Naples, Florida passed away on Thursday, February 4th, 2021 at the age of 57. He was born in Gloversville, New York on August 28, 1963 to Edward and Doris Muscato. He was a retired detective from the Collier County Sheriff’s Department in which he served 25 years. Tom was a devoted husband, father and grandfather in which he loved his family fiercely.
Tom graduated from Gloversville High School and then moved to Naples, Florida in 1982. He began his law enforcement career in 1984 with the Collier County Sheriff’s Department and retired in September 2009. His passions were traveling with his family, cooking, playing bocce ball in which he was in a league where he lived in Lely Resort. He also enjoyed biking and driving his dream car, a 2019 Dodge Challenger R/T.
Tom is survived by his wife of 35 years, Vincie (Priolo) Muscato, sister-in-law Rose (Priolo) Hansen(and her husband Robert Hansen), children Anthony Muscato(and his wife Lauren Muscato) and Angela Muscato; grandchildren Jordan Roan, Landon Muscato, Mason Muscato and Vincent Muscato. He is also survived by his sister’s Sandra (Muscato) Yost (and her husband Mark Yost),Valerie Muscato, Josephine (Muscato) Payne, his brother Charles Muscato (and his wife Kathy Muscato) and numerous nieces and nephews.
